At 2.26m square with a 1:1 projectable area, it’s designed for smaller garages and multi-use rooms where space is tight. This ceiling-mounted enclosure deploys in minutes and retracts completely out of sight when you’re not playing.

The Compact Simulator Solution

The Vanish 9 suits smaller home spaces where a full double-garage enclosure won’t fit. With a 226cm x 226cm (89″ x 89″) projectable area and a 1:1 screen ratio, it delivers a genuine simulator image without demanding the footprint of the larger Vanish models. A suggested room depth of 5.18m gives enough swing room for a full driver shot, and the ceiling requirement of 2.74m–3.2m works in most UK garages and converted outbuildings.

Choose the control method that suits your space. The Hand Crank model requires no electrical connection — simply turn the handle to deploy or retract. The Remote Control model adds motorised operation at the touch of a button, requiring a standard power outlet on each side of the screen.

How does the retractable mechanism work?
The Vanish Series uses a patented roll-up system. The entire enclosure — impact screen, side screens, ceiling panel and baffles — rolls up into a compact housing mounted to your ceiling. With the hand crank model, simply turn the handle. With the remote control, press the button. Both take under 5 minutes.
Will the Vanish 9 fit in my space?
The Vanish 9 needs a room at least 2.57m wide, 5.18m deep and 2.74m high to work properly. Standard UK room ceilings (2.4m) are typically too low — but most garages and converted spaces meet the requirement. If your ceiling is higher than 3.2m, 2ft screen extensions are available.
What is the difference between Hand Crank and Remote Control?
The Hand Crank uses a manual handle — no electrical connection needed. The Remote Control is motorised and operates at the touch of a button, but requires a standard power outlet on each side. Both retract in under 5 minutes.
Do I need a projector with this?
Yes. The Vanish is a golf simulator enclosure — it provides the impact screen, side containment and structure. You will still need a projector, launch monitor, hitting mat and simulation software. Tekden stocks all of these and can advise on the best combination for your space.
Can I use this for other sports?
Yes. A multi-sport attachment is available separately from The SportScreen for hockey, baseball and lacrosse.
