Optoma GT2200HDR Full HD 1080p Short Throw Golf Simulator Projector

The Optoma GT2200HDR is a bright, compact 1080p short throw projector for golf simulators that gives crisp Full HD course visuals without the cost of a 4K laser. It delivers 3,300 lumens from Optoma’s 4LED light source, which lasts up to 30,000 hours with no lamp to replace. It also includes a 1.2x zoom lens, HDR support and Optoma’s dedicated Golf Sim picture mode. It is the newest model in Optoma’s GT short throw family.

Sharp Full HD Where It Matters

Native Full HD 1080p (1920 x 1080) is the sweet spot for most golf simulation software and PCs, giving clean, detailed visuals on a large impact screen. HDR10 and HLG support, coverage of 95% of the Rec.709 colour gamut and a 300,000:1 contrast ratio keep fairways natural and skies realistic.

Short Throw with 1.2x Zoom

The 0.69–0.83:1 throw ratio lets you mount the GT2200HDR close to the screen, out of your swing path and away from shadows over the ball. The 1.2x manual zoom lets you fine-tune the image to fit your screen exactly without moving the mount.

For a 16:9 picture, as a rough guide: 90″ image about 1.37m – 1.65m, 100″ image about 1.53m – 1.84m and 120″ image about 1.83m – 2.21m from the screen.

If your room is very shallow and you need the image from about 1 metre, look at the Optoma LH351ST (0.46:1 lens), or the Optoma UHZ36STe or Optoma LW351ST (both 0.49:1). Golf Sim Picture Mode

Optoma’s Golf Sim picture mode is calibrated specifically for golf simulation, giving true-to-life greens and blues with strong detail, even with the lights on. (Make sure the projector is on the latest firmware to access this mode.)

4LED: Lamp-Free and Built to Last

The solid-state 4LED light source runs for up to 30,000 hours maintenance-free. It switches on instantly and is mercury-free, using up to 45% less power than Optoma’s lamp-based projectors. The IP6X-rated dust-sealed design helps keep the optics clean in a busy golf room.

Low-Lag Gaming Mode

When the clubs go away, the GT2200HDR becomes a big-screen gaming and sports projector. Input lag is just 8.4ms at 1080p 120Hz, and two HDMI 2.0 inputs make it easy to connect a console alongside your simulator PC.
