Is the slope mode tournament legal?
Yes — the slope feature can be switched off with a visible external indicator, which makes the Prism+ tournament legal under R&A and USGA rules. Always check your specific competition’s local rules before play.
How accurate is the slope-adjusted distance?
The Prism+ measures incline angle to the target and adjusts the carry yardage accordingly. For typical course gradients (up to roughly 20 degrees) the adjusted figure gives you a much more useful “play-as” number than the raw line-of-sight distance.
Will it work in the rain?
Yes. The Prism+ is rated IPX54 — splash and rain resistant. Wipe the lens between shots and you’ll get a clean read even in a passing shower.
Battery, Care & Setup
How long does the battery last?
Up to 70 rounds per single USB-C charge depending on use. Most golfers will only need to charge it every few weeks.
Does the magnet really hold on a cart?
Yes — the embedded magnet is strong enough to hold the Prism+ on most metal cart rails, range dividers and ferrous fence posts. It won’t grip onto plastic or carbon-fibre carts.
Which colour should I pick?
All six colours are identical specification — Black, Green, Navy Blue, Pink, Red and White. Pick the one that matches your bag.
