BenQ AK900ST 4K Short Throw Laser Golf Simulator Projector

The BenQ AK900ST is the flagship of BenQ’s golf projector range. It delivers 6000 lumens of laser brightness in true 4K UHD (3840 x 2160), and it is the first in the range with 4-way lens shift, so the projector doesn’t have to sit dead centre over the hitting bay. Add BenQ’s onboard AI processing, Auto Screen Fit 2.0 for flat and curved screens, and 97% Rec. 709 colour, and it’s built for premium home simulators, larger bays and commercial venues.

A built-in AI processing unit drives BenQ’s AI Sim Sense picture engine. AI Super Resolution upscales the image from your launch monitor software to 4K, AI-Enhanced Contrast lifts standard content towards HDR quality across 500K contrast zones, and AI Noise Reduction removes artefacts while keeping detail, so turf texture and course depth look true to life.

4-Way Lens Shift for Flexible Installation

Lens shift of ±60% vertical and ±23% horizontal lets you move the image on the screen without tilting the projector or losing resolution to keystone correction. That makes it much easier to mount the AK900ST where your room allows, out of the swing path and clear of ceiling obstacles, and still land a perfectly square image on the screen.

Auto Screen Fit 2.0 for Flat and Curved Screens

Auto Golf Screen Fit 2.0 uses an AI algorithm to detect your impact screen’s shape, size and curve, then focuses and warps the image to fit. Screen Fill offers six native resolutions (16:9, 16:10, 3:2, 4:3, 5:4 and 1:1) for pixel-perfect golf-ratio screens, and Golf Scene Memory saves up to five complete display setups.

Short Throw Lens with Motorised Zoom

With a 0.81–0.89 throw ratio and motorised 1.1x zoom, a 120-inch image needs roughly 2.2–2.4 metres, and BenQ quotes a 300-inch 4K image from 5.3 metres. Zoom and one-touch autofocus are both controlled from the remote.

Low Input Lag & Connectivity

Input lag is as low as 4.8ms at 1080p/240Hz (9.7ms at 1080p/120Hz, 18.1ms at 4K/60Hz), with Auto Low Latency Mode for gaming. Connections include three HDMI inputs (two HDMI 2.1, all HDCP 2.3), LAN, RS232, two USB-A ports, a 3.5mm audio out and HDMI eARC with 7.1-channel audio return. Built-in 10W speaker and 10W woofer chambers are included, and wireless casting is available with the optional EZC-5201BS dongle.
